Alleged drug lord nabbed during Napolitano visit – USA Today

Mexico and the United States agreed Thursday to take steps to stop gun smuggling across the border and find out where the weapons being used by Mexican drug lords are coming from.

There was also some good news as Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and Attorney General Eric Holder met with their Mexican counterparts: the arrest of one of its most wanted drug suspects.

Federal police said Vicente Carrillo Leyva, 32, allegedly the second in command of the powerful Juarez cartel, was arrested while exercising in a park in a posh Mexico City neighborhood Wednesday.
