Former Acting White House Cybersecurity Advisor Melissa Hathaway recently spoke with Federal News Radio to discuss why she left her position, her thoughts on the future of the cybersecurity, and what the nation needs to do to improve its overall cyber health and security.  It is a remarkably personal and candid assessment by someone who literally was at the center of this issue for much of this year.

While she has left her government position, she certainly has not left the fight to secure America’s interests in these areas.  She has opened her own consulting practice and is working with Harvard’s Kennedy School and MIT on these issues.  Those are three posts that assure we will continue to hear her voice and counsel for some time to come.
