DHS Adviser: Government Needs Public’s Help in Fighting Human Trafficking – CQ Homeland Security

The banking and legal communities have a major role to play in stamping out the scourge of human trafficking, a top Department of Homeland Security adviser said Monday.

Alice Hill, senior counselor to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, provided attendees of an anti-money laundering conference in Washington with an outline of the scope of the problem and steps the financial and legal industries could take to help fight it.
