Please join The George Washington University Homeland Security Policy Institute today at 5:00 pm for a webcasted event featuring the Hon. Janet Napolitano, Secretary of Homeland Security, the Hon. Michael Chertoff, Former Secretary of Homeland Security, and Hon. Tom Ridge, Former Secretary of Homeland Security.

The secretaries will partake in a conversation about the future of homeland security, discussing how the nature of their work has evolved since the creation of the Department, and how to best move forward in this ever-evolving threat environment.

To engage in a national conversation with these three distinguished public servants, we put forth the following questions:

  • What are the lessons learned since 9/11 and the creation of the Department of Homeland Security?
  • What are the greatest homeland security challenges that we continue to face today?
  • Looking forward, how do you see the homeland security environment in the U.S. changing in response to evolving threats domestically and internationally?

We encourage you to tweet your responses to these questions and any other questions you might wish to pose to the secretaries using the Twitter hashtag #DHSConversation. Also, we invite you to follow our live tweeting during the event by following @HSPI.

We look forward to your participation. Please view our webcast, here.
