The chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee warned on Sunday that terrorism is spreading like “wildfire” throughout parts of the world. On CNN’s “State of the Union, ” host Candy Crowley asked Rep. Mike McCaul (R-Texas) and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) if the United States is “less safe” because of widespread terrorist groups and lone-wolf terrorist threats.
