President Barack Obama said that the conflicts in Syria and Iraq could pose dangers for homeland security, because militants carrying European passports might be able to gain entry to the United States. The U.S. needs to improve intelligence, reconnaissance, and surveillance in order to minimize new risks, said Mr. Obama in an interview that aired Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.”
