Following the catastrophic hacks that rattled the federal government, a group of senators is angling to give the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) more power to repel cyberattacks. Later on Wednesday, a bipartisan coalition will introduce the FISMA Reform Act. The measure would update the 12-year-old Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and formalize the DHS role in protecting government networks and websites.
