Napolitano, Holder Outline Border Counternarcotics Strategy – HS Today
US Department of Homeland Security head Janet Napolitano and Attorney General Eric Holder unveiled President Obama’s 2009 National Southwest Border Counternarcotics Strategy Friday at a meeting of the Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC), a recently formed organization of national security experts from state, local and tribal governments, first responder communities, academia and the private sector.
Secretary Napolitano and Attorney General Holder were accompanied by Office of National Drug Control Policy Director Gil Kerlikowske.
