Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano on Monday reiterated a point she has made many times this year — that her department is counting on the help of citizens and local law enforcement to stymie terrorism plots on American soil.
Driving home the department’s new campaign, “If You See Something, Say Something,” Napolitano told state and local criminal justice professionals that the government must change its methods of preventing terrorism to combat an ever-changing threat.
