CBP to Unveil New Border Security Metrics- Feirce Homeland Security 11/27/2011
Customs and Border Protection will unveil in February new performance measures to characterize security along the southwestern border, according to the Government Accountability Office.
In a report dated Nov. 17 that reviews the fiscal 2011 CBP spending plan for border security fencing, infrastructure and technology, the GAO says that CBP no longer measures border security in terms of “operational control.”
