From HS Today:
US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced in a solicitation Tuesday a new competition for the purchase of mobile video surveillance systems (MVSS) for use by Border Patrol agents. CBP will buy new MVSS units that are able to endure tough conditions along the Southwest border, the agency said in a request for proposals (RFP) Tuesday. The agency emphasized its requirements for truck-mounted MVSS units that were truly off the shelf, highlighting the importance that such systems be versatile, rugged and easy to use.
